“I don’t pick the news, I just cover it.” Shauna’s expression shifted, daring Ann to say otherwise.
Ann licked her bottom lip, wetting it like an envelope. “But you are open to suggestion.”
Shauna flipped her note pad closed. “So what if I am.”
“So maybe I have a suggestion for you.” Ann shifted, hesitated, stepped forward.
